The Fearrington InnSider - Feathering Our Nest (So You Can Feather Yours)

It may only be October, but inside Nest Home & Gifts, it’s already beginning to look a lot like Christmas. We’ve spent months searching high and low for the perfect ornaments, whimsical treasures, and thoughtful gifts to make your season merry — and after so many requests, we couldn’t wait any longer to share them with you.

This year’s holiday collection is all about whimsy and wonder. Each table tells its own story, lovingly imagined by Leah, who dreamed up the most enchanting holiday themes. From sparkling snowmen and mischievous mice to garden-inspired greenery and woodland charm, every display invites you to slow down and savor the magic.

Behind the scenes, our back room has been a mini Christmas wonderland since June — boxes of ornaments and garlands arriving from across the globe, waiting to be unwrapped and sorted into their festive families. This week, Leah, along with our talented floral team Kathy and Lucy, worked their holiday magic once again, decorating trees, wreaths, and displays that make the whole shop come alive with joy.

We’ve tried to recreate that same magic online so you can experience Nest from wherever you are. You’ll find many of our favorite ornaments, décor, and gifts already live on our website — and we’ll be adding more each week as new treasures arrive.
