November 03, 2025

With the start of November and the recent time change, our days are growing shorter and the evenings are filled with that soft, autumn glow. As the light fades earlier, the rhythm of the village shifts too — and Fearrington takes on a particularly cozy charm this time of year.

The shops and The Belted Goat will now close at 5 p.m., perfect for a late afternoon stroll through the gardens before dusk. Galloway’s Wine Bar will continue to stay open Wednesday through Saturday from 5–8 p.m., with live music from 5–7 p.m. It’s a wonderful spot to unwind, and rumor has it that mussels will be making their return as a Thursday night special — stay tuned to our socials for updates!

While Roost Beer Garden has officially closed for the season, Roost Pizza remains a Friday night favorite. From 5–7 p.m., you can order online and pick up your pizza at the side window (just be sure to order early — we’ll have 50 pizzas available each week). Take your pizza home, or bring it over to Galloway’s to enjoy alongside a glass of wine, a cold beer, or your favorite cocktail while listening to live music.

And if you’re in the mood for something even cozier, stop by The Fearrington Bar. We’ll be firing up the fireplaces, and the lounge will have a warm, inviting glow — the perfect place to settle in with a cocktail, glass of wine, or lighter fare on a crisp autumn evening.

I’ll still be at Roost on Fridays and look forward to seeing our regulars when they stop by to pick up their pizzas! The season may be shifting, but the heart of Fearrington remains the same — filled with good food, laughter, and familiar faces.
