The Fearrington InnSider – Fresh Fall Finds: From France to Italy, Straight to Dovecote

One of my favorite parts of what I do is traveling and scouting new brands for our shops. Whenever I’m on the road, I’m constantly watching trends, touching fabrics, trying shoes, and asking myself—would this delight our Fearrington guests?

Earlier this year, I stumbled upon a French brand with the most beautiful ballerina flats and loafers. They came in an array of colors and had that perfect combination I’m always searching for: style, comfort, and a great price point. I ordered a pair for myself to test, and when they arrived a couple of weeks later, I knew we had found something special.

The suede was buttery soft, they fit like a dream, and I immediately reached out to the company. Fast forward to this weekend—our first shipment of Reqins has arrived at Dovecote! From chic neutrals to fun fashion colors, I think you’ll love them as much as I do.

On my recent trip to Italy, I also had the chance to connect with a handbag maker whose designs stopped me in my tracks. Gorgeous craftsmanship, supple leathers, and timeless silhouettes—all at a price that makes them even more irresistible. Our order of bags, wallets, and suede handbags just landed, and I can’t wait for you to see them.
