Marie’s journey began with a love of travel and color. Born into a French and Italian family, she spent six years living in India, where she immersed herself in the country’s vibrant culture, artisanal traditions, and mastery of materials. When she returned home to Lyon—France’s historic heart of textile design—she launched Storiatipic with one simple mission: to create pieces that express individuality, celebrate craftsmanship, and connect cultures.

For over 15 years, Marie and Françoise have grown Storiatipic into a globally recognized brand, now found in more than 700 boutiques worldwide. Yet it remains deeply personal and family-driven, anchored by the values ofpassion, openness, respect, and creativity. Each piece—whether a scarf, jacket, or bag—is designed in Lyon and handcrafted in India using ancestral weaving and embroidery techniques. The result?
