SAVOR THE EVENINGS AT FEARRINGTON 🌿🍷

As the weather begins to cool, the evenings at Fearrington are some of the most magical of the year. The gardens take on a softer glow, the air feels fresh, and the sunsets invite you to linger a little longer.

It’s the perfect time to take a stroll through the gardens before dinner—champagne flute in hand, a favorite cocktail from the Fearrington Bar, or perhaps a glass of wine from Galloway’s Wine Bar, where our team is always happy to guide you to something new.

Whether you’re headed to dinner in the Fearrington House Restaurant, enjoying small plates at Galloway’s, or planning a casual evening at Roost or The Belted Goat, taking in the gardens at twilight adds a special touch. The evenings are cooler now, and it’s truly one of the best times to savor the beauty of the Village.

Delas Haute Pierre Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 – $48

Deep garnet in color, this 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah blend is as bold as it is elegant. Aromas of black plum, blueberry, licorice, and violets give way to a rich, full-bodied palate of fresh blackberries, raspberries, and subtle spice—think black pepper, clove, and black tea on the long, dry finish. Aged two years in oak and stainless steel, it offers both polish and structure, with the ability to age gracefully for a decade or more.

Perfect alongside grilled meats, hearty stews, or Provençal favorites, it’s a wine that feels indulgent yet grounded in tradition.

Troy Revell, our Wine Director, shares: “This is Châteauneuf-du-Pape at its finest—layered, powerful, and still refined. I love how it manages richness without heaviness, making it just as enjoyable with food as it is on its own. A bottle worth savoring now, but it will reward patience if you can let it rest in your cellar.”
