BOOKWORM - CARD

Any time spent with my nose in a book is a little slice of Heaven, tied with time in my garden. I combined these two pastimes into one card of a person made of botanicals reading a book. I get the botanicals in my garden, picked and pressed them, then designed this whimsical figure. I used the petals of Cyclamen, Coral Bells and Kalanchoe as well as little tendrils of grape vines and herbs. The original art work was scanned at a professional printing house and digitally printed onto creamy card stock.

Use it as a birthday card or thank you note for the person who loves to read. Bundle a bunch and give them as a gift to your book group. Or give one to your favorite librarian. Send it or keep it and frame it with my other Petal People designs!
