Martin Woods is hidden in the oak-forested Coast Range foothills near the town of McMinnville, Oregon, a neighborhood advantageously influenced by cool Pacific ocean air. The winery is also the home of owner/winemaker, Evan Martin. A Martin Woods wine promotes the notions of graceful power and elegant complexity — a beautifully balanced tension of opposites that can only result from the combination of great terroir, observant farming, and meticulous, patient winemaking. Evan continues to push the boundaries of what Willamette Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir can and should be, while simultaneously exploring limited productions of Syrah, Riesling and other varietals, each project inspired and informed by the truly benchmark wines of the Old World.

From the very beginning of Martin Woods, Jason has been a close friend and strong advocate to Evan and his beautiful wines. Evan and Jason met 20 years ago in Santa Fe while working at one of the cities most celebrated restaurants - Geronimo. This is where they each discovered their passion for great food and fine wine.  While Evan moved on to focus on viticulture and oenology, Jason took the path of hospitality, education and sales.  Jason was Martin Woods’ first distributor partner outside of Oregon and he has continued to be a champion for the winery since the 2014 inaugural vintage.  Jason officially partnered with Evan in early 2023 and manages national and international distributor relationships. You can also find him at the winery during harvest, helping all around, but most importantly nourishing the team with home-cooked meals.

This $195 wine dinner is non-refundable and totals $255 inclusive of tax and service. If your plans have changed, please feel free to send a lucky friend in your place!  Just send us an email with their name or have them bring your confirmation email.
