Inspired by our founders' love for their playful pups, Grüner and Rioja (who, yes, you can spot on our jar design), Wag Butter came to life so we could share our favorite thing - high quality, nutritious nut butter - with our furry friends.
Handcrafted in small batches with fresh-roasted peanuts, organic virgin coconut oil, and organic chia seeds, our original Wag Butter - Peanut Butter for Dogs is a canine superfood perfectly suited for dogs' unique nutritional needs. With an ideal balance of complete protein, Omega-3, and Omega-6 fatty acids, it promotes healthy muscles, joints, skin, and coats. The medium-chain fatty acids in coconut oil work to balance dogs' thyroids, stabilize blood sugar, boost energy levels, improve digestion, and reduce allergic reactions.* Chia seeds have been found to improve brain function, reduce inflammation, and preserve muscle, keeping your dog feeling their best.

Now that our line of Wag Butters has grown from a single product to a family of three recipes, we're updating the name and packaging of the original to showcase its unique, dog-worthy ingredients and keep things consistent with the other recipes in the line.
