QUARTZ PINOT NOIR 2023

Coastal mountain Pinot Noir. The winery and the wine take their name from the decomposed granite soils of the region. The grapes are hand harvested, early in the season to maintain freshness. The winemaking is simple, with as little intervention as possible; fermented in stainless steel and aged in neutral French barrels for 6 months. The resulting wine is pure, aromatic, textbook Pinot Noir, and it is a ridiculous value. You would be hard pressed to find a wine with this much character at the same price from anywhere in the world.
