A blend of Chardonnay (60%) and Pinot Noir (40%) comprises this wine with 1-2% still red wine added prior to tirage. This ensures a red fruit exuberance highlighting the complexity of Pinot Noir throughout the palate. Pale pink color with aromas of rose petals, strawberries, nectarine, lemon peel and baked biscuits.
Troy says - "I had the pleasure of tasting with Scott Caraccioli at their tasting room in Carmel-by-the-Sea back in 2012. They were still a newer operation at the time, but today have become one of the most respected American sparkling producers, and my personal favorite of the genre."
