The Chateau itself was built in 1753 which gives the wine it's name. Third generation winemaker Franck-Lin dalle produces this Grenache fusing tradition and progress to create a wine with integrity, finesse and a true expression of terroir.
This Grenache is beautifully complex with a deep ruby color. On the nose red fruit and cherry mix with spicy notes. In the mouth the tannins are soft and flexible producing a wine that is elegant and delicate. The 1753 Grenache is produced without the use of sulfites & Campuget doesn't use any product coming from animals making this wine Vegan friendly.
In 2019, Chateau de Campuget was certified HVE officially recognizing the environmental performance of winegrowers, including biodiversity conservation, plant protection strategies, managed fertilizer use, and water resource management.
