With more than 20 years of experience in luxury spa management, Angela Astan leads The Spa at Fearrington with expertise, warmth, and an unwavering dedication to guest care. A licensed massage therapist and seasoned hospitality professional, Angela brings a deep understanding of both the business and wellness sides of spa operations.
Before joining Fearrington, Angela served as Assistant Spa Director at The Umstead Spa and Spa Director at Primland Resort, where she honed her leadership in creating exceptional, guest-focused experiences. Her thoughtful approach ensures every detail of the spa reflects balance, serenity, and personalized service.
When she’s not at the spa, Angela enjoys spending time outdoors—sailing, hiking, kayaking, and relaxing at the beach. A proud mother of three grown children who all live nearby, she brings a nurturing spirit to her role, helping both her team and guests feel truly at home.
