Description This design references many elements of the arts and culture of Edo-period Japan. The corners feature a folkloric Karasu (jungle crow) diving into the tempestuous waves, while the body of the design is filled with strings of koinobori (hand-painted, fish-shaped flags). Throughout the design, details and names are noted in Japanese hand-script, echoing ancient zoological manuscripts from the 17th century, along with a Hanko stamp bearing the name Sabina Savage.
