The Fearrington House Inn
This property near Chapel Hill, North Carolina features manicured gardens, a gourmet restaurant, and over 30 Belted Galloway Cows, a rare Scottish cow breed whose coats resemble Oreos. The cattle, fondly called Belties, were first brought to the village in 1982 and now roam the Relais & Chateaux estate. The Belties are available for photos with guests, and the onsite farmer can provide vegetables to share with the cows.
