Sandlands is owned by Tegan and Olivia Passalacqua. Tegan is the winemaker and vineyard manager at Turley Vineyards, and his personal project of Sandlands has resulted in some of the most sought-after California wines since its inception in 2010.
An intentional blend of three varieties and three vineyards in three equal parts, this wine is composed of Cinsault from the Bechthold Vineyard (vines from 1886), Carignane from Spenker Ranch (1900) and Zinfandel from Kirschenmann Vineyard (1915). Black cherry, orange zest, black tea, bright, velvety finish.
